The Little House project, built on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, USA. The small house is nestled in a lush grove on the north side of the cliff overlooking the Hood Canal. The building grew on the existing base, its foundation is a square with a side of only 6 meters. The house received a simple shape, its harsh exterior of black cedar siding and cement contrasts with the warm interior, decorated using pine plywood.
Homeowners live in Houston, Texas, but spend most of their summer days here, surrounded by nature and family. They wanted their suburban residence to be compact, modern, simple, and inexpensive.
We used to write about House with wood siding on the lake in Finland.
A small canopy indicates the entrance to the house, next to it there is a small terrace overlooking the canal. Numerous windows and skylights fill the interior with daylight and also allow you to admire the night starry sky directly from the bed or shower.
